2 Buck Tuesdays at Thanksgiving Point in August

Get all the information on 2 buck Tuesday's HERE

Tips:
-The BEST week's to go are the 1st (before everyone hears about it) and the last week (when most everyone is back in school!)
-Arrive 20 to 30 minutes before opening. Bring a snack and a game while waiting in line. This will save you time in the end... promise.
-If you can't go early, go LATE! Go 2-3 hours before closing time.
-Have your cash ready to go, so you can get through the line as quick as possible.
-If you head to the Farm first, RUN to get in line for the horse rides the moment your through the door!
-If your headed to the Curiosity Museum, hit the Rain-forest area first. (The climbing/jungle gym area.) As the museum fills up they will limit the amount of time you can spend in there, or not let you in that area at all.
-Be patient. It will be busy, but you are saving TONS of money, so just enjoy what you can, and have a good attitude!

Place to Visit- Neptune Park

NEPTUNE PARK- 452 W 400 N, Saratoga Springs, UT 84045

I've had this park on my list of places to visit for a long time, and finally this morning we went!  Such an amazingly FUN park!  We arrived at 8:45am and nobody was there!  By 9:45am the park was getting pretty busy!

A great space for BIG kids to play!

And a great space for LITTLE kids to play!

A fun stage area, basketball courts, big pavilion, bathrooms, soccer field, ton of grass area to play in, and paved walk-ways for scooters/bikes/blades.

For reals.  Such a cool park.  Unique things you haven't ever seen!

Even electronics incorporated!

Watching my daughter conquer this pyramid was awesome.  She was so proud of herself!  This is 1 of 3 like this in the world!

Prepare to get dizzy!  Lots of spinney features!

Have you seen a more unique rock wall?

Pack and lunch, head out early, and enjoy an awesome park!!

Free Lego Mini Builds Every Month!

Do your kids love Lego's as much as mine?  How about getting Lego's for FREE!!!  Every month at each Lego store they do FREE Lego Mini builds (Ages 6-14).  You register for a specific time, go into the store and build your free Lego set!  It is super fun, and going to the Lego store alone is worth the drive! (In Utah it is located at the Fashion Place Mall!)

The tricky part?  Getting a spot.  You must register on the 15th of each month, for the following month at 9AM EST.  So that means if you live in Utah you must register at 7AM in order to get a spot.  They go so quickly.  Make sure you are registered as a VIP member before sign ups, so that you can grab a spot as quick as possible!

Don't forget to sing up for the FREE Lego Magazine!  My kids love it!

Midway Ice Castles

If you are looking for something to cure those January Blues, this is it!  It is such a unique experience, and something fun to do in those cold slow months!  Amazing Ice structures, fountains, fire and lights set to fun music, ice slide, and gift shop!   Located in Midway, Utah!
www.icecastles.com/midway
Tips and Tricks:
*Always purchase your tickets online.  They sell out many nights.  Buying your ticket online reserves you a spot!  www.icecastles.com/midway
*If possible don't go on a weekend.
*If possible go early!!! I think 5:00 is the perfect time. You beat the rush, and you are able to see the castle in the light and in the dark. Seeing it in both is a must!
*First things first. Hit the slide!! The line gets longer and longer as the night goes on! So let the kids (and adults!!!) go 5+ times, and then move on to the rest of the castle!
*DRESS WARM! Wear snow-pants not only for warmth but you want them for the slide. Otherwise... you don't slide so well...
*Take a good camera... it is a photographers paradise!!
*It's not HUGE, but its AMAZING!
*If you didn't get discount tickets this year, watch for them on Groupon in November/December, and jump on them quick!
