Valentine Luncheon

Tic Tac Toe
3 in a Row
Hugs & Kisses
X's & O's

A friend of mine gave me some centerpieces she had spent so much time on.
She made Tissue Paper flowers and pinwheels.  Put them in a jar decorated with Doilies and twine.
I love that she shared these with our lunch group.

To add to the centerpieces we Put a tic tac toe pattern on each placemat.  It really made the placemat much more attractive!!
We cut fun XO's out to put on the napkins tied with twine ( What did we ever do before Cricket and Silhouette machines were invented)

For their favor we made these cute tic tac toe games for them to take home.

We have included the PDF if you would like to make your own ðŸ˜Š
They fit a 4X6 clear bag.

Friend "SHIPS" are the best SHIPS!

In February we celebrated Friendships!
These "ships" were so fun to do.  I just made a base for the sail with a Styrofoam cup and poured plaster of paris about 1/3 way up and placed a skewer in the middle.  When the plaster of paris was set up, i just peeled the cup off.  I glued the sails and flag on, put it in the trays from Hobby Lobby using crinkles to cover up the base.  So quick and easy and everyone loved them.
Behind the cake table, we added some sails that gave some color to the room.
"There are good SHIPS,  and wood SHIPS, SHIPS that sail the sea, but the best SHIPS are FRIENDSHIPS, may they always be"

Harry Potter Class Valentines

I've never seen my 5th grader boy so excited to hand out his Valentines.
But when its a Harry Potter Snitch, can you blame him?
I got the idea HERE, and then made it our own by using Ferrero Rocher Chocolate Balls, and creating Gold Glitter Wings with Harry Potter writing.  Simply take the brown wrapper off, glue the gold ball onto the wings, and your done!  Easy, and fun for a boy!  (or girl!)

Class Valentine "You make my heart BOUNCE!"

My son is so excited to hand out his preschool Valentines!
 Want to make some too?

I picked up the paddle ball's at Dollar Tree, wrapped the tag around, and hot glued it together.

Class Valentines "You've got all the WRITE stuff"

Loved how my daughters class Valentines turned out this year!!
Want to make some?
Print the free printable below, and grab some of these cute pencils in the dollar section at Target (or pick up any fun pencils)!  Simply cut out the hearts, and with an exacto knife cut little slits for the pencil to slide through!  Easy Peasy!

Valentine Printables

Ran across some old printables I made before my Photoshop days... These would be great to place into a frame for decor, or use as a card for Valentines Day!  (All 4X6 size.)  Print at home, or a copy store, your favorite place to get photos!  (Costco, Walmart, Walgreens)

Teacher Valentine

Need a Valentine for the teachers in your kids lives?

Click on the image.  When it is big, right click and save it to your computer.  Print.  I put mine in a little treat bag found at Walmart, where I also bought the chap-stick as well.  I folded the image in half, and placed it over the top of the bag, then stapled it on the sides!  Or you could just simply cut the bottom half off of the image and tie it to the chap-stick!

Love One Another- 14 Day Challenge

LDS.org put up a great article!  They had the fabulous idea to start February with a 14 day Love One Another challenge.  Of course it ends on Valentines Day.  How perfect right?  I'm so excited to have this hanging in my home, and having my family work on one simple challenge to simply LOVE.
13X19

Want one of your own?  Click on the image.  When is shows up BIG, right click and save it to your computer.  Take it in to a local copy store and have it printed 13X19 for $1-$2.  I wanted this BIG!

Or if you prefer, here is an 8 1/2 X 11.  You can print off at home, or at your favorite copy store.  Would be so cute in a frame!
